Unwrapped:
Art Inspired by '80s & '90s Toys

Featured poster artwork:
“Back to Melmac” by Darren Vorel (Acrylic on canvas, 11x14).

Tree lights glowing in the dark, dog-eared toy catalogs circled in red marker, and the living room floor buried in torn wrapping paper. Evolved Art Gallery invites you to step straight back into Christmas morning magic with Unwrapped: Art Inspired by ’80s & ’90s Toys.

Running November 14 through year-end, this high-energy group exhibition brings together over 50 contemporary artists delivering more than 70 brand-new original works. From Saturday morning cartoon royalty and neon action figures to iconic video games and plastic grails, Unwrapped pays homage to the physical treasures that defined an unforgettable era of youth culture.

In a creative landscape increasingly flooded with synthetic visuals, Unwrapped is a deliberate celebration of tangible human craft. Every single painting, sculpture, and mixed-media piece in the gallery is 100% human-made—crafted by the skilled hands of independent artists with genuine personal nostalgia behind every brushstroke and sculpted detail.

Whether you grew up hunting for secret collectibles under the tree or simply love vibrant, underground pop surrealism, Unwrapped offers art lovers and holiday shoppers the perfect opportunity to gift authentic original art this season.

Exhibition Run: November 14, 2026 – End of Year
