Carl Yonder is a contemporary visionary surrealist and mixed-media artist whose layered work explores the subconscious, spirituality, and narrative. Blending traditional techniques with digital innovation, his art invites viewers to become storytellers, encouraging intuitive and emotional interpretation rather than fixed meaning.
Yonder’s work has been exhibited throughout the Mid-Atlantic, including Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Maryland, and at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, where he received third place in the Regional Painting Exhibition, as well as Greenpoint Gallery, where he earned the Curator’s Choice Award. His recent solo exhibition Caravan was presented at Gallery Blue Door in Baltimore, and he is the author of The Storyteller, a book documenting his artistic evolution.
