Brittany is heavily influenced by the small, overlooked details in life that most people lack the patience to see or hear. Described as a magpie for the unconventional and the peculiar, she seeks to sow the seeds of the imaginary and question what grows. Ultimately, she hopes her work ignites a deep curiosity and delivers, in her words, “not eye candy, but eye protein.”
Artist Statement:
"To me, Pee-wee is truly an artist's artist. He represents unbridled joy and rebellion. He will always be replicated, but he can never be reincarnated. To have been alive during the time his art was first produced is a true privilege; what we are left with now are the echoes of his brilliant ingenuity. Everything else is merely a copy of a copy of a copy. My piece is a small nod to that massive ripple in his ocean."
