Christopher Madden is an American illustrator and graphic designer known for his vibrant, pop-culture-inspired subjects and keen sense of humor. Born and raised in Upstate New York, Chris’s unique illustrative style is heavily shaped by his childhood in the 1980s. From vintage movies and television shows to retro toys and books, the bold aesthetics of that era continue to serve as a primary influence on his work.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from SUNY Fredonia and later completed his Master’s Degree in Graphic Design at SUNY Oswego, where he fine-tuned his dual skills in illustration and design layout. He currently serves as the Design Manager at Syracuse University.
