Bernice Rahel is a Germany-based artist with a background in literature and intermedial studies, particularly film and television. Storytelling has been central to her practice since childhood, expressed through writing and drawing. Following the loss of her brother in 2018, she turned fully to visual art as a means of giving form to her narratives and maintaining a creative bond beyond the physical world. Working primarily with black ink and accented by sparkling gel pens, her work merges introspection, fantasy, and quiet emotional depth.
