Teri Hendrich is a Los Angeles–based painter and graduate cum laude of ArtCenter College of Design, where she earned her BFA in Illustration and Fine Art in 2004. For over 17 years, she has honed her storytelling and artistry as a background painter and color supervisor in animation. Influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites, Symbolist Movement, and Abstract Realism, her imaginative works evoke unseen worlds and give visible form to invisible energies.

Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries throughout Los Angeles and featured on television and film sets, including Abbott Elementary. She was recently recognized by the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles in their 62nd Annual Illustration West Competition. Her collectors include professional animators, a state senator, and a celebrity chef.

Hendrich’s work has appeared in publications such as Keyframe Magazine, Art Seen, Create Magazine, The Curator’s Salon, and CanvasRebel. She lives and works in Glendale, California, where she paints from her converted garage studio. Beyond her art, she practices astrology and advocates for labor equity through IATSE Local 839, The Animation Guild.
