Brian Methe is a Cincinnati-based artist and illustrator best known for his striking concert posters and alternative pop-culture artwork. Over the years, he has collaborated with a wide range of influential musicians and bands—including Elvis Costello, Foo Fighters, and Wilco—producing coveted, limited-edition screen prints that perfectly capture the raw energy and identity of live performances.

Artist Statement:

"These pieces capture the character of Pee-wee Herman along with his iconic wit and style, while directly referencing two of his most famous catchphrases: 'I know you are, but what am I?' and 'That's my name. Don't wear it out.' This imagery and these particular phrases are incredibly important to me. They became universally associated with Pee-wee across all of his incarnations, from his early creation at The Groundlings straight through to the feature films and Pee-wee’s Playhouse."
