Lynda Frese (b. 1956) is an interdisciplinary artist working in photography, painting, and printmaking. She holds an MFA from the University of California, Davis, and is professor emeritus at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in major museum collections, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frese’s practice draws from myth, religion, and UFO lore to explore the boundaries between the natural and unseen, blending surreal imagery with environmental themes through layered photographic prints and translucent egg tempera.
