Mandy Schonzeit weaves together a global perspective with years of professional training to bring expressive, humorous, and deeply personal art to collectors and students alike. Born and raised in New York, Mandy draws inspiration from a vast tapestry of experiences—from the sweeping landscapes of Himachal Pradesh in India and the vibrant people of Kuna Yala in Panama, to the rich traditions of Japan, China, and the local wildlife of Long Island farms.
An accomplished artist working across a broad spectrum of media with a particular specialty in animals, Mandy projects an intimate connection with all of her subjects, human or beast. In addition to creating private commissioned paintings and large-scale murals, she is deeply passionate about cultivating and mentoring artistic talent in children.
